We will begin work the week of October 24, 2016 on a line improvement on 150th road between S and T roads. We will adding a 2" line in order improve water pressure in that area. If you live in this area you may experience water service interruption between 8 am and 5 pm while work is going on. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

We will be working on fixing a water line on S road between 110th & 102nd road. If you live in this area you may experience water service interruption between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

As you know, Jackson County RWD #1 purchases its water from the City of Topeka and Shawnee County Consolidated RWD #4. We have been informed by the City of Topeka their water rate for our district increases by 5% on January 1, 2016. Shawnee County Consolidated RWD #4 water rate will increase by .05% on January 1, 2016. Due to this increase, the Jackson County RWD #1 board of directors voted to increase the water rate for all customers by 3% effective April 1, 2016.
