Jackson County RWD #1 currently purchases all its water from two sources, the City of Topeka and Shawnee County Consolidated RWD #4. We were informed in the last month both of our water suppliers will be increasing their rates effective March 1, 2018. The City of Topeka will increase their rates 6%. Shawnee County Consolidated RWD #4 whose rates went down 7.5% last year will increase 13% this year. The Jackson County RWD #1 board decided to not raise water rates at this time.

The business of the Annual Meeting will include the election of two district members for a three-year term on the Board of Directors.
In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday the office will be closed on Thursday November 23rd and Friday November 24th. Have a Happy Thanksgiving. You can put payments in the slot on the office door.
Jackson County RWD #1 is NOT UNDER a boil water advisory. The boil water advisory issued on 9-21-2017 is for the City Of Mayetta and the customers it serves. JACKSON COUNTY RWD #1 IS NOT UNDER A BOIL WATER ADVISORY! If you receive your water bill from Jackson County RWD #1 the boil water advisory DOES NOT affect you.
