Water Rates

Jackson County RWD #1 currently purchases all its water from two sources, the City of Topeka and Shawnee County Consolidated RWD #4. We were informed in the last month both of our water suppliers will be increasing their rates effective March 1, 2018. The City of Topeka will increase their rates 6%. Shawnee County Consolidated RWD #4 whose rates went down 7.5% last year will increase 13% this year. The Jackson County RWD #1 board decided to not raise water rates at this time.
