The Jackson County RWD #1 board voted on 2/24/2026 to increase the minimum rate by 2% effective with the water bill due April 15, 2026. Most residential customers minimum rate will now be $28 per month and those who live in the expansion areas of the district will go to $41.73 per month. Currently there has been no change to the water rate.

The Jackson County RWD #1 board voted on 3/24/25 to increase the water rates by 8 %. This is due to the district's cost of water going up. The residential rate will be $8.91 per thousand gallons which is an increase of $.66/1000 gallons. The new rate is effective with water water bill that will by due May 15, 2025.
