The Jackson County RWD #1 board voted to increase the residential water rate from $7.87/1000 gallons to $8.25/1000 gallons. They also voted to increase the minimum rates by 5%. The residential minimum rate will now be $27.43 for those residents not in the expansion area. The minimum rate for the expansion area will be $40.91. These rates are effective with the May 2024 bill.
